Tournament Centre Women's ASB Classic 2025: Schedule, results ...
From 30 December - 5 January, 2025, the ASB Classic will take place in Auckland and is the first of two weeks of action in New Zealand to start the 2025 season. The WTA side of the draw is perhaps the most intriguing and starts it off. Our Tournament Centre brings you all the latest.
Including Schedules, Prize Money, Results and TV Guide for the tournament which will likely see a new winner this year. It has been a dominant streak in recent years for Coco Gauff. She won the last two but won't return.
Instead she plays United Cup. Often though it has been a tournament which has attracted players on the comeback trail and this includes this year, Emma Raducanu, Amanda Anisimova and Naomi Osaka. All showed glimmers last year of returning to their best but will hope to extend that further.
As well as those names, Madison Keys was a late addition with the tournament losing Bianca Andreescu as star power. Elise Mertens, home hope Lulu Sun, Clara Tauson and Katie Volynets all feature in the top eight of the women's draw. The men's featuring Ben Shelton as top seed follows on over the week after.
Prize MoneyThe Prize Money is not yet confirmed and will be when the tournament begins prior to December 30. In 2024, for winning the title alongside 250 points, there was $35,250 for the victor. While for reaching the final, it was $20,830.
TBC when draw is made
Amanda Anisimova returned to some of her best in 2024. She will be part of a strong field in Auckland.
As ever with all WTA tournaments, it is shown on TV throughout the world including Tennis Channel and Sky Sports in the US and UK.
