AMBER ALERT: Authorities searching for Wichita child
WICHITA, Kan. (WIBW) - Authorities located the child taken at gunpoint from Wichita. The child is safe with the Wichita Police Department.
The KBI says Trevawn Strong, Sr., stabbed the mother and abducted his son, Trevawn Strong, Jr., during a domestic incident Wednesday afternoon. He left the Wichita home at 2025 S. Grove just before 5 p.m. The vehicle he was in was found in the 1900 block of N. Woodlawn.
Trevawn Strong, Jr., is 5 years old, described as having black hair and brown eyes. he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, black shoes, and with his hair in a ponytail.
His father stands about 5′10″ 175 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes. he was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, gray shorts, and red shoes. He also has tattoos on his arms, face, chest and neck.
