The 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup will get underway in the United Arab Emirates from 3 October, and conclude on 20 October. Defending champions Australia have been placed in the same group as India (Group A) and will begin their campaign against Sri Lanka in Sharjah on 5 October.
Harmanpreet Kaur-led India, on the other hand, will begin their quest for a maiden title against New Zealand in Dubai on 4 October, before facing arch-rivals Pakistan at the same venue on 6 October.

The tournament will begin with a Group B match between the original hosts Bangladesh and Scotland in Sharjah on 3 October. The tournament was supposed to take place in Bangladesh but was moved out due to an ongoing political crisis in the country.
